The Greater Grand Forks Greenway is a 2,200-acre public park system stretching along the Red River and Red Lake River in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Developed after the 1997 Red River Flood, the Greenway serves dual purposes: providing year-round recreational opportunities and acting as a natural buffer within the region’s flood protection system.
