New this season, the City Preseason/Fall Clinic has been retired. The Fall Clinic sessions have been incorporated into the regular season registration fees with different dates, designed to give players time off during the MEA Break and Youth Hunt.

Preseason Skills Sessions may start as early as October 5^th, depending on the age group. Preseason Skills Sessions are NOT mandatory, but a time for players to prepare for the upcoming season and evaluation process. The Preseason Skills Sessions are offered as an opportunity for the players to get (re)acquainted with their hockey equipment, the ice, coaches, and other players they skate with and against during the season. 

The Preseason Skills Sessions are set up to give players an opportunity to get onto the ice and into hockey shape prior to the season starting and potential evaluation / tryout period. The clinics at the Mite, Squirt, Peewee, Bantam and Girls 8U, 10U & 12U levels will be a combination of PEP & station-based skill development drills, power skating, small area games, 3 on 3 and cross-ice games.

Programs offered through the EGF Parks & Recreation Department are setup for citizens within the EGF city limits. Those wishing to participate that live within Polk County but outside of the city limits MUST complete the Non-resident Participation Form prior to registering.
