Located right next to the VFW, the Blue Line Club Arena is home to all things East Grand Forks hockey and skating. As a key mid-sized arena, the arena strikes a balance between dedicated competitive programming and casual community use.

From Temporary School to Community Ice Arena
Built as a FEMA-funded temporary school following the 1997 Red River Flood, the building was repurposed into the Blue Line Club Arena and officially opened in 2008 through a collaborative community effort led by the East Grand Forks Blue Line Club, the City of East Grand Forks, and numerous local supporters. Originally intended primarily as a practice facility, the arena has become an increasingly important part of the city's recreation system as participation in youth hockey and figure skating has continued to grow. Its conversion transformed a temporary educational facility into a permanent recreational asset, helping preserve affordable and accessible ice opportunities for future generations while complementing the City's existing arenas

- Ice rental reservations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to ensure staff availability.
- Ice rentals are available on a first-come, first serve basis and are subject to change based on calendar and staff availability.
- Open hockey sessions are for East Grand Forks Youth Hockey players only.
