The East Grand Forks Private Ice Program provides dedicated practice time for figure skaters working individually with a private coach. These sessions allow skaters to focus on personalized goals and receive targeted instruction beyond regular group skating programs.



Private Ice is available throughout the skating season at the VFW Memorial Arena according to the weekly schedule below. Ice times are subject to change based on arena scheduling and special events.

26-27 Private Ice will be scheduled at the Blue Line Club Arena until construction is completed at the VFW Memorial Arena.

Weekly Ice Schedule

• Monday: 6:00-8:00 AM
• Tuesday: 3:45-5:00 PM; 8:40-10:15 PM
• Wednesday: 6:00–8:00 AM (unless Synchro practice is scheduled); 2:15-5:45 PM; 9:15-10:15 PM
• Thursday: 6:00-8:00 AM
• Friday: 6:00-8:00 AM
• Sunday: 6:00-10:00 AM; 8:15-10:00 PM

Ice times are subject to change.

$280.00 - City of EGF residents 
$320.00 - participants living outside of EGF City Limits, attending school in EGF and live within Polk County 

Programs offered through the EGF Parks & Recreation Department are setup for citizens within the EGF city limits. Those wishing to participate that live within Polk County but outside of the city limits MUST complete the Non-resident Participation Form prior to registering.

All individual/private ice-skating participants must be registered with both the Northern Lights Figure Skating Club (NLFSC) and U.S. Figure Skating (USFS). Registration for both memberships can be completed through the NLFSC membership website.
