At this level, players continue strengthening their core softball skills, throwing, catching, hitting, fielding, and base running, while being introduced to pitching with proper mechanics and hitting against live pitching. Athletes begin learning more advanced team concepts and positional strategies, helping them build a deeper understanding of the fastpitch game. The focus is on preparing players for the next level while keeping the experience competitive, supportive, and fun. The 12U level is the beginning of fastpitch play. Players will pitch to and face live pitchers in games.
Age Limits
The 12U level is for girls from 11 & 12 years old with birthdays between May 1, 2013, and April 30, 2015. Players born between May 1, 2015, and July 31, 2015, can choose between playing either 10U or 12U Softball.
