2026-2027 Season

The Bantam level is the most advanced level in youth hockey player development. Body checking is taught and

becomes a part of practices and games at the Bantam level.

Age Limits

The tee ball level is dedicated to players with birthdays between June 1st, 2010 and May 31st, 2012.

Dates and Location

Bantam hockey begins in mid-October and goes through early March. Ice time is scheduled for 5-6 times per week on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays and also includes Open Hockey sessions and games. 


Tournaments are held at various times and location during the year.

Cost

$875.00 - City of EGF residents 
$915.00 - participants living outside of EGF City Limits, attending school in EGF and live within Polk County**


**Must fill out Non-Resident Participation Form for permission to participate

Registration

Registration for the 2026-2027 season opens Monday, August 10th  and closes Wednesday, September 9th. Register by September 3th to avoid a $50 late fee.

EGF Residents and Non-Residents

Programs offered through the EGF Parks & Recreation Department are setup for citizens within the EGF city limits. Those wishing to participate that live within Polk County but outside of the city limits MUST complete the Non-resident Participation Form prior to registering.

Evaluations

At the Squirt level, "A" and "B" level teams will be determined through a player evaluation process.


At the 10U level if we have enough players for two teams the teams will be "A" and "B" level teams formed by the coaching staff, focused on assigning each player to the team level that will allow the player to continue developing individual and team skills.

Coming Prepared

Players should bring their own skates, gear, and water bottles clearly marked with their name.
