GETTING STARTED
If you are interested in umpiring Minors (10U) and Majors (12U) baseball games, please contact John Wuitschick, Recreation Coordinator, at [email protected]. You can also call our office at 218-773-8000. Information can be found below on how games are scheduled and how to get set up on Refr, our scheduling and payment app.
GAME SCHEDULE
Games will be posted online on Refr weekly. Please email the Recreation Coordinator with any games that you would like to work.
RULES
Copies of the 2026 Minors and Majors rules are linked on this page and will be posted in each dugout.
PAYMENT
Minors: $30/game (2 umpire system)
Majors: $35/game (2 umpire system)
Payment will be made through Refr Sports.
USING REFR
East Grand Forks utilizes Refr Sports for scheduling and paying umpires. Please see the information below on how to create an account on Refr, set up payment information, and link to an assigner (Listed as "East Grand Forks Youth").
You must have an account created on Refr before you can be paid for any games worked. Please make sure to complete the final step (Pairing with an Assignor) as well. We cannot assign you games on Refr (or pay you) until you request to join our referee pool by pairing with an assignor. When searching for an assignor, search by city or search for "East Grand Forks Youth."
