ABOUT THE PLAYGROUND PROGRAM
Our Summer Playground Program is a longtime favorite and a great way for kids to stay active, creative, and connected during the summer months. The program is open to children ages 6–10 (as of April 30th, 2026) and begins each day at the Campbell Library. From there, kids can choose to swim at Sherlock Pool, head to Sherlock Park for playground time and games, or stay at the library for crafts, reading, or a movie.
Fridays are reserved for field trips, with past destinations including University Park, Splashers of the South Seas Water Park, Turtle River State Park, River Cinema, Northern Air, Red Ray Lanes, Heritage Village, and more! (Please note that most field trips include an additional fee, and times may vary based on location.)
Enrollment is limited to 100 participants to help ensure a safe and positive experience. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
