This summer we will offer our softball program for girls 6 to 14 years of age. From the very beginners to the seasoned vets, there are leagues at the 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U levels. Players learn the proper fundamentals of softball as they progress through each level of play. Also, players learn what is is like to be a part of a team and to have fun while being a part of a competitive activity.
Girls 12U and 14U softball will now be an evening program. We will form teams at the appropriate age levels based on the number of players registered and number of volunteer parent coaches. The teams will play in the Northwest Minnesota League which includes teams from Warroad, Roseau, Lake of the Woods, Greenbush, Thief River Falls, Red Lake Falls and Crookston.
We are looking for parent volunteers to coach. If interested, please call the Parks & Recreation Office, 218-773-8000, prior to registering to get setup as a coach.
Players are placed in leagues according to their age as of April 30, 2024. Please click on the tabs above to find information on each of the age and playing levels and registration information.
The East Grand Forks Youth Parks & Recreation Programs are setup for residents of the city of East Grand Forks and those living outside of the EGF city limits but within Polk County who attend school in East Grand Forks. Those wishing to participate that live within Polk County but outside of the city limits MUST complete the Non-resident Participation Form.

RegistrationRegistration must be completed by clicking on Registration tabs on each activity page. Registration will open on Monday, March 25th. Registrations must be completed by Thursday, April 18th to avoid paying late fees. Registrations from April 19th through April 29th will pay a
$50.00 late fee per registration item. Registration will close on Wednesday, April 29th.
All users will need to setup an account through our new Sports Connect website to complete the registration process.
