For Players born between 6/1/2014 - 5/31/2016

This playing level is setup to continue skill development and beginning introduction to team play. Teams are organized into playing levels generally based upon age with some variations depending on total number of players.  A Girls 8U team will be setup if registration numbers allow and volunteer coaches are available.  The Girls 8U team generally practices with the Girls 10U team.  Teams will practice with and play against other local teams.  Teams may also participate in area jamborees.  Games are typically cross-ice.  Practice plans are based upon and developed through USA Hockey and the American Development Model.  Group is typically coached by parent volunteers.  Travel is very minimal at the Mite / Girls 8U level.

Start Date - Mites - Saturday, October 28th 

Season - Late October through early March
Ice Time - 3-4 scheduled times per week (Monday, Saturdays, Sundays) plus Open Hockey sessions
Days/Time - Mites: Monday 5:15pm - 6:15pm or 6:30pm - 7:30pm   Weekend times and arena vary depending on ice availability.
                  Girls 8U: Typically practice with Grand Forks 8U, Mites or Girls 10U.

Fees:  $250.00 local registration fee plus applicable USA Hockey Registration fee.  Residents of Polk County residing outside of the EGF city limits who attend school in East Grand Forks pay an additional $40.00 per activity registration.
